L Mahalingam top nuclear scientist missing | Kaiga Atomic energy
L Mahalingam, senior nuke (nuclear)scientist with Kiaga Atomic Energy Station has been missing since june 8th 2009.
He went out of his house this monday but did not return yet. He has access to Nuclear plant and most sensetive data.This could lead to some major security issues.
A possibility of kidnap could not be ruled out.However no threats were ever reported to police ever.
L Mahalingam is a native of Chennai Mahalingam lives in Mallapur This colony in Mallapur is surrounded by 1,000-odd acres of dense forests. There are lots of man-eating leopards in this forest. Police with the help of CISF is planning to comb some portion of the forest,’’ the official said
Interestingly, he disappeared for 5 days in a similar fashion ten years ago.After he returned he clarified he had gone in quest of spiritual solace.
Hope he 's done the same this time. His salvation then would have caused a lot of disturbance in other people's life.

Loknath Mahalingam the top nuclear scientist was found dead today . his body was recovered from Kali river near kadra dam in karnataka.
He was missing since monday.The investment is going on and the reason for the death could not be established and still remains a mystery.
speculations were made about him being kidnapped as he had access to top secret information at the energy plant.
The question is:
If he was really abducted and after taking the information ( or after denying to divulge) he was tortured and killed and dumped into the river.
Or Did he meet some kind of accident.
or Could it be he went out to end his life himself for some unknown reason as he went out for a walk all by himself keeping his belongings at home?
What ever the case is , it certainly is sad.
